Pandemics suck.

All things considered, you probably wouldn’t pick the dead center of a global health emergency to start an online used-car company in competition with Carvana, Cars.com, and the gaggle of major and minor auto sellers in this end of the market. Still, fortune is supposed to favor the brave, and that resulted in Shift’s urgent need for a TV spot to get the brand rolling in key markets. Proving that speed doesn’t always kill in creative advertising, we fast tracked a premise that was a little bit bold and a whole lot honest. The happy ending came when the company got traction, velocity, and a successful IPO, in exactly that order.
