YMCA 100th Anniversary

Not exactly your great-great-great-grandparent’s advertising for “The Y.”

While advertising really can’t fool people (especially in an era of social media), it can prompt people to see the familiar in a new and appealing way. The client for this pitch-winning creative recognized that fact, applauding the concepts and awarding the account to our local PR agency client. Of course, in the end, The Y decided to put all their media money into a 100th Anniversary Party—once again proving the limitations of the craft.
