Kony 2012 viral program – One of the downsides of living in a snapshot society is that the search for larger meaning in events, always a part of the human condition, becomes so, well, point and shoot. One recent example: the fire drawn by the Kony 2012 viral program that’s still drawing views and reactions by the millions. Sure, the critics have a point when they say that awareness doesn’t pack the genocidal maniac-stopping firepower of, say, a battalion of Navy Seals. But silence, at least in our experience, gets a whole lot less than nothing done.
