    “Manischewitz goes mainstream?” That’s right, and if you follow the New York Times ad column, you heard it here second.  Not that we’re ones to kvetch.  But if the brand made famous by Sammy Davis Jr. as “Man-o-Manischewitz” is going to fast and lose with its all-Kosher, all-the-time, roots then all we can say is, “oy gevalt.”
